Built around the people who walk through the door
Chesters Pharmacy opened on Shard End Crescent because the area needed a pharmacy that did more than hand over bags. Taha Mohamedali took it on with a simple idea: run it the way you would want your own family looked after.
More than 25 years on, that still shapes how we work. Consultations happen in a private room rather than across a counter. If we cannot help, we say so and point you to someone who can. When a prescription is delayed at the surgery, we chase it rather than telling you to phone them yourself.
We have grown the clinical side steadily, adding Pharmacy First, travel health, ear wax removal and weight management, but the pharmacy has stayed independent. That means decisions about your care get made here in Birmingham, not by a head office somewhere else.

Amazing team at Chesters Pharmacy. No matter the weather or how busy they are, the staff always greet you with a smile. Amna, Norma, Maisie, Jordanne, Gemma, Affana, Raja, Falak, last but by no means least Libby are a credit to management. There is a walk in service to get advice if needed which is also fast and efficient.
I always have a fantastic experience at this pharmacy! The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to take the time to answer questions about my prescriptions. They are very efficient, and my repeat prescriptions are always ready when promised. Highly recommend.
Awesome pharmacy. The nice lady there either has an eidetic memory or is a super recogniser as she always remembers my name and address. Super kind staff that are always happy to help. Best pharmacy in the B34 area.
